Service
Five years in the Army Reserve.
I served five years in the Army Reserve alongside my early engineering career. Training included live firing of surface-to-air missiles, jungle warfare in Belize, fighting in built-up areas, skiing and parachuting.
I continued parachuting as a hobby for several years after my military training.
Travel and relocation
International work
My work has included payload emissions and susceptibility investigations in India, and test programmes in Germany and France.
I relocated to Scotland for the opportunity to help design a spacecraft build-and-test facility at Mangata. Edinburgh has remained my home through subsequent roles at Eurofins and Leonardo.
